Quiznos turns to spicy BBQ for summer launch

Quiznos is bringing back its Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Sub and its signature Southern BBQ Pulled Pork Sub. Last year’s debut of the Spicy BBQ sub received favorable reviews from customers, the company said in a news release.

Both subs feature all-natural pulled pork that is slow roasted for eight to 10 hours and infused with Quiznos signature barbecue sauce, the company said.

“This combination creates just the right base of flavor for the Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Sub and Southern Pulled Pork Sub,” said Quiznos Executive Chef Nick Graff. “There is barbecue for everyone at Quiznos.”

Both subs will be offered for a limited time in most locations.

• The Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Sub includes bacon and cheddar cheese, and is topped with jalapeno coleslaw made with jalapenos, red onions and roasted jalapeno ranch dressing, served on a toasted jalapeno cheddar baguette.
• The Memphis style Southern BBQ Pulled Pork Sub is topped with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, pickles, Quiznos signature BBQ sauce and mustard, served on a toasted artisan bread.
