Real Kungfu selects NCR for POS services

BEIJING — Chinese fast-food chain Real Kungfu has selected NCR Corp. to provide point-of-sale (POS) technology and services.
Real Kungfu operates more than 200 stores across China. The chain's growth plans include reaching 1,000 stores by 2010 and expanding into markets outside China.
Under a three-year agreement, Real Kungfu will purchase 4,000 NCR RealPOS 21 POS terminals, which will be deployed either in new stores or replace current systems in existing stores. NCR also will provide services, including store technology rollout management, installation of the NCR POS terminals along with servers and networking equipment and ongoing customer support maintenance.
