Rita's Italian Ice adds caramel offerings

Rita's Italian Ice has added Dulce de Lech as its newest Cream Ice flavor. The caramel treat is now available for a limited time.

Dulce de Leche is named after a signature South American dessert prepared by slowly heating sweetened milk, which then caramelizes. Literally translated, it means "candy of milk."

Rita's new flavor is available through Oct. 22. Complementing Dulce de Leche Cream Ice is the Caramel Milkshake, which is Rita's new Milkshake of the Month for October.

"Rita's is proud to introduce our newest caramel creation, Dulce de Leche Cream Ice," said Jeff Moody, CEO, Rita's. "The amazing creamy caramel flavor of Dulce de Leche and our new Caramel Milkshake are out of this world."
