Rita's, Philly Pretzel Factory open first co-branded unit

Philadelphia-based Philly Pretzel Factory and Rita's Italian Ice have announced their first co-branded outlet at Montgomery Mall in North Wales, Pa. There will be a grand opening celebration at 3 p.m. Oct. 25 featuring Jeff Moody, Rita's CEO, and Dan DiZio, Philly Pretzel Factory CEO, as well as the brands' mascots, Ice Guy and Phil E.

Guests who visit the new Montgomery Mall co-branded location will receive one free Rita's Kids Italian Ice and one free Salted Philly Pretzel Twist from 2-4 p.m. that day. Additionally, all guests will be entered for a chance to win free Ice for a year, free pretzels for a week, and Rita's Italian Ice and Philly Pretzel Gear.

The new co-branded location offers each brand's signature offerings, including hand-twisted pretzels and more than 65 flavors of Italian Ice.

"Bringing popular Philly-based brands Rita's and Philly Pretzel Factory together for the first time ever at Montgomery Mall is great for the fans of both brands," Moody said. "What could possibly be better than a refreshing Rita's Mango Ice and a warm Philly Pretzel with mustard?"
