From now through Oct. 18, Roy Rogers Restaurants is featuring its BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. The limited-time offer features 33 percent more meat than before, topped with cole slaw and served on a Kaiser roll.
Guests can customize the sandwich by visiting Roy Rogers' famous Fixin's Bar, which features a dozen different toppings such as fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and jalapeños. The BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich also can be purchased as a combo meal, which includes a choice of side dish and a regular drink, for $6.49.
"I'm impressed with the authentic taste we've duplicated with this sandwich. We use real hickory smoked pork shoulder, hand pulled and lightly sauced with a sweet smoky BBQ sauce," said Gwyn Geiman, director of marketing. "Eating is believing. You've got to try one before they're gone."
