Roy Rogers continues East Coast expansion

Roy Rogers Restaurants has signed a franchise agreement with Ed Abramson for a new location in Brick, N.J. The Brick Roy Rogers is projected to open in early 2015, marking the franchisee’s second restaurant opening in the Ocean County market.

Abramson has been the owner/operator of the Roy’s location in Pine Beach, N.J., since 1994.

"We are excited about our expansion of Roy Rogers with Ed’s opening of the Brick location," Jim Plamondon, co-president of parent company The Plamondon Companies, said in a news release. "Ed has been such a great operator and champion of our brand, developing a solid foundation in the Pine Beach community for several years. We look forward to this new restaurant and our continued partnership for many years to come."

The Mid-Atlantic plans further franchise expansion throughout the next five years with the help of Franchise Dynamics.
