Roy Rogers signs NJ agreement with Dunkin' franchisee

Roy Rogers Restaurants has signed a development agreement with an area franchise group led by Dipen Desai, who operates a number of restaurants including Taco Bell and Dunkin' Donuts. Desai plans to develop four restaurants across Bergen and Essex Counties in northern New Jersey. The first Roy Rogers restaurant is expected to open in 2016.

"We are pleased to have Dipen Desai join the Roy Rogers family," Co-President Jim Plamondon said in a news release. "With Dipen's depth of QSR franchise and operational experience, we're enthusiastic about our partnership with his organization as the Roys brand continues to grow in northern New Jersey."
