A Russian man isn't too happy that McDonald's is closing locations in Russia due to Russia's war on Ukraine.

The man, Luka Safronov, staged a one-man protest by chaining himself to a Moscow location, according to a New York Post report citing a Mirror news report.

During the short protest Safronov reportedly shouted "closing down is an act of hostility against me and my fellow citizens."

He was removed from the site by police.

McDonald's announced last week it was closing its 850 stores on a temporary basis in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

President and CEO Chris Kempckinski said the company will continue to assess the situation and that it is impossible to predict when restaurants will reopen.
