Smalls Sliders to expand in Austin, Texas

QSR brand Smalls Slider has inked a deal for a multi-unit agreement in North Austin, Texas, with franchisee Jonny Rodgers at the helm. Rodgers expects to bring five units to the area, with 30 restaurants, dubbed "Cans," in development in Texas, according to a press release.

"I saw posts about Smalls Sliders on (backer) Drew Brees' social media, and the concept immediately piqued my interest," Rodgers said in the release. "I'm an entrepreneur at heart, and have a passion for hospitality and client satisfaction, which Smalls is also big on. After meeting with the corporate team, I knew they were building something special and I wanted to be a part of it."

Rodgers' first unit is expected in 2025, with the remaining stores to open thereafter.
