Sonic adds boneless chicken wings to menu

Sonic Drive-In kicks off fall with all-new boneless chicken wings, available tossed in three flavors – Asian sweet chili, barbeque or Buffalo.

"With our new Boneless Chicken Wings, the uniqueness of the sauces really steals the show, improving on popular flavor profiles to create a premium version of the familiar but ever-evolving chicken wing," Chef Claes Petersson, VP of product innovation, said in a news release. "Our team of culinary experts worked carefully in the test kitchen to create these three bold signature sauces that accommodate the diverse tastes of our guests, elevating our juicy Boneless Chicken Wings beyond anything you might find at other fast food or fast casual restaurants."

• The Buffalo boneless chicken wings are tossed in a savory sauce that features cayenne, red chili peppers and chipotle.
• Asian sweet chili boneless chicken wings are tossed in a savory soy sauce with ginger, lemongrass and red pepper flakes.
• The barbecue wings are tossed in a sauce made with brown sugar. 

All three flavors are available in packs of six, 12 or 24. Guests who order 12 or 24 boneless chicken wings also have the option to mix or match two sauces to try more than one flavor. 

The new wings are available all day for a limited time only.
