Sonic combines three desserts for new launch

Sonic Drive-In has rolled out its new Red Velvet Molten Cake Sundae, combining three desserts into one. The offering includes red velvet molten cake on a bed of cheesecake and topped with Sonic's Real Ice Cream.

"Already famous for Real Ice Cream and high quality desserts Sonic is always looking to surprise our guests with intriguing new flavor profiles, such as the Red Velvet Molten Cake Sundae," Chef Claes Petersson, VP of product innovation, said in a news release. "Sundaes are a fan-favorite that have stood the test of time, but the new red velvet and cheesecake additions elevate our Molten Cake Sundaes to a whole new level."

The Red Velvet Molten Cake Sundae is a made-to-order and is finished off with whipped topping, a drizzle of chocolate sauce and a cherry. It is available all day through February.
