If you listened to the QSRweb podcast this week, you know that round-the-clock or so-called "clockless eating" is a surging trend in QSR. Today, Sonic Drive-in announced an LTO designed to take advantage of that trend.
Sonic's Brunch Burger features a beef patty, cheese, bacon and fried egg, served on a brioche bun, with a side of Tots for just $2.99. It also created a Cherry Limeade Mimosa (no booze, of course), which —along with the burger — is available all day.
The chain is also offering a Bigger Brunch Burger with twice the beef for $4.99.
"With our entire menu available all day long, guests are free to order breakfast anytime and our new Brunch Burger is the best of both worlds," Sonic Vice President of Product Innovation and Development Scott Uehlein. Adding crispy Tots and a Cherry Limeade Mimosa makes any day feel like a gorgeous Sunday!"
Sonic now has more than 3,600 restaurants in its system, under parent company, Inspire Brands.
