Sonic introduces Cheesy Bread Dogs

Sonic Drive-In has added Cheesy Bread Dogs to the menu. They are a twist on the traditional hot dog, according to a company press release, and feature cheese baked onto the hot dog bun.

They are available as Ultimate Cheese, Bacon Cheesy and Garlic Parmesan Cheesy. The latter option includes a cheddar bun, garlic parmesan sauce and grilled onions.  

"It’s become tradition at Sonic to put a nontraditional spin on a fan-favorite item, and the Cheesy Bread Dogs are no exception," Chief Brand Officer, James O’Reilly, said in the release. "Our premium hot dogs are a staple for many of our guests, and we always strive to come up with creative additions or unique enhancements that will keep our menu exciting. The Cheesy Bread Dog will appeal to anyone who pulls up to the drive-in, whether they’re looking for something new or just craving an iconic summer meal."
