Sonic launches Toaster Melt sandwiches

Sonic has added two new Toaster Melt Sandwiches to its menu during November and December.

The new offerings include the Bacon Cheddar Toaster Melt and the Mushroom Swiss Toaster Melt.

"These new Toaster Melt sandwiches pack an unbelievable 1-2 punch of flavor and value," said Danielle Vona, chief marketing officer for Sonic. "Sonic customers now have two more delicious ways to stay toasty this winter."

The new sandwiches are available as full-sized or junior-sized.

The Bacon Cheddar Toaster Melt features a 100 percent pure beef patty with grilled onions, bacon, sliced cheddar cheese, pickles and hickory BBQ sauce served between two slices of Texas Toast.

The Mushroom Swiss Toaster includes a 100 percent pure beef patty with grilled onions, sautéed Portobello mushrooms, sliced Swiss cheese and mayonnaise served on Texas Toast.

The Toaster Melt line starts at $1.99 each.
