Sonic LTO melts away winter chills

Sonic is bringing some warmth, with a touch of creamy cold into winter, with its hot Oreo and Cinnabon Cinnasnacks a la mode desserts. The LTOs include the Oreo variety that combines hot fried Oreos with a side of ice cream, while the Cinnabon items includes those warm treat with a scoop on the side.

"Balancing the richness of your favorite warm dessert with the refreshing creaminess of ice cream has become common practice for a reason," Sonic Vice President of Product Innovation and Development Scott Uehlein, said in the release. "With the new Oreo and Cinnasnacks A La Mode, we took what many traditionally do with a pie or brownie fresh from the oven to create an entirely new experience."

The two LTOs run $2.99 each and come with the brand's reminder that Slushes are half-price any when guests order ahead on its app. There are now more than 3,600 drive-ins in the Sonic system.
