Sonic plans to expand in New York state

August 23, 2009

With Sonic getting a warm welcome in Northern markets, often pulling in three times the sales of stores that open in existing markets,  the chain is making a strong push into the New York market.

Franchisee Daser Restaurant Group plans to develop several more drive-ins in the region in the next few years, according to a story in the Times Herald-Record.

From Times Herald-Record:
"The franchisee, which has the rights to seven counties in the lower and mid-Hudson Valley, has been scouting sites in all the usual high-traffic locations, including the Town of Wallkill."
