Sonic has presented its Troy Smith Hall of Fame award to franchisee Buddy McClain. The award is the highest offered by the Sonic system and is named after the brand’s founder.
McClain is the CEO of MVP Sonics. Cliff Hudson, chairman, CEO and president of Sonic Corp., said in a news release that McClain is an ideal franchisee because of his “emphasis on embracing change and technology and for pursuing his dream through unfailing focus.”
Based in Ridgeland, Miss., MVP Sonics owns and operates 59 Sonic Drive-Ins in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
