South Philly Steaks and Fries adds fried pickles to sandwich

South Philly Steaks & Fries has rolled out a Fried Pickle & BBQ Steak Sandwich, featuring USDA beef, fried pickles and raw onions, and topped with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce.

The new offering is available for a limited time at South Philly locations nationwide.

"We pride ourselves on creating and introducing new, great-tasting entree options to our customers," said Paula Doyle, vice president of Marketing at parent company Villa Enterprises Management. "This new sandwich marries a number of consumer favorites into one sandwich that is packed with big, bold flavor, and we think our customers will love it."

South Philly Steaks & Fries also recently introduced its South Philly Steak & Fries Bowl, which has sold well in restaurants nationwide, according to the company, and will be added as a permanent signature menu item this month.
