Study reveals higher proportion of restaurants not obesity link

Chicago Tribune: A recently unveiled study entitled "Are Restaurants Really Supersizing America?" found that the number of fast food restaurants in an area is not necessarily a contributing factor to obesity. The research compared restaurant consumers who lived zero to 5 miles from an interstate with those who lived 5 to 10 miles away. While those consumers who lived closer did eat at restaurants more often, they were not necessarily fatter than those who lived farther away.
