Subway adds some fire to cheesesteak

Subway has added Chipotle Cheesesteak to its menu. The sub has steak, shredded Monterey cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, red onion, jalapenos and a smoky Chipotle Southwest sauce on top of Sunflower Crunch bread, a news release said.

The LTO is available nationwide as part of the Subway Steak Collection that includes the chipotle cheesesteak, as well as:

• Signature Steak & Cheese sub, with steak, shredded Monterey cheddar, and your choice of veggies on baked bread
• Chipotle Southwest Steak & Cheese Signature Wrap with steak, shredded Monterey cheddar, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, green peppers, and onions, topped with jalapenos, guacamole and a Chipotle Southwest sauce in a Tomato Basil Wrap.

Subway recently unveiled a strategic partnership with Tastemade, a modern media brand with 250 million monthly active viewers.

Subway has more than 44,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries.
