Subway offers footlong subs for $6.99 through app, website

Subway is introducing a new deal. From Aug. 26 through Sept. 8, any footlong sub on Subway's menu is $6.99, according to a press release.

The deal is available only through on the Subway app or at Subway.com with code 699FL.

"Today's diner is stretched more than ever, and too often that means a tradeoff on quality, variety or flavor to find an affordable meal," Doug Fry, president, Subway North America, said in the press release. "At Subway, our definition of value is a mix of delicious options at the right price without compromising quality. Our menu is full of footlongs for every budget, and this new deal means our guests can get the sandwiches they crave at a great value."

Subway operates nearly 37,000 restaurants across 100 countries and territories.
