Subway recognizes top development agents

Subway recently recognized four development agents as its Development Agents of the Year for 2014, including one who is receiving the award for a fourth time. According to a news release, the Subway restaurant chain has more than 300 DAs around the world.

This year's winners include Max Lemos of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Kris Perrier of Saskatchewan, Canada; Wei Jia of Shandong, China; and Mohsen Adeeb of Saudi Arabia.

• Perrier has been with the brand for eight years and oversees 119 Subway restaurants. This is the fourth time Perrier has been named Development Agent of the Year.

"I joined Subway because of the health message and immediately found that it was a very progressive company with huge growth potential,” he said in the release. "The best part of my job as a DA is to assist franchisees to increase their sales and profits. I also enjoy finding great locations for existing franchisees as well as new franchisees."

• Adeeb has been with the brand for 23 years and oversees 76 restaurants in his territories.
• Lemos has been with the brand for nine years and oversees 98 restaurants in his territory.
• Jia oversees 20 restaurants in his territory, all which perform  above the national average, the release said.
