Taco Bell debuts smothered burrito

Taco Bell has introduced a smothered burrito, in stores nationwide starting today. The new item combines an enchilada with burrito fillings.

It features a warm flour tortilla filled with Latin rice and chipotle sauce, along with the choice of shredded chicken, seasoned beef or steak. It is then covered in red sauce, a melted three-cheese blend and reduced-fat sour cream.

The beef version of the smothered burrito is priced at $2.99, while the steak and chicken versions will sell for $3.99. Taco Bell is also providing a Combo for $4.99 and $5.99, respectively. This meal includes the burrito, along with a crunchy taco and large drink.
