Less than a month after announcing that its signature hot sauces will be available in retail outlets, Taco Bell is adding even more offerings to its retail portfolio.
According to AdAge, Kraft Foods Group and Taco Bell have partnered up to launch new items in grocery stores, including two dinner kits and two seasonings.
Taco Bell has had a retail presence since 1996, and there are now 28 branded products available on shelves. The newest products include the Taco Bell Ultimate Taco Night Kit, available as Cheesy Taco Grande or Steak & Cheese Soft Taco Kits.
The story also reports that Kraft is launching a digital campaign for its partnership with the QSR, called "Bottle of Awesome," aimed toward "Taco Bell enthusiasts."
From the story:
"Taco Bell sees the power in bringing the brand outside of [the quick-service category] and into retail," said Adam Grablick, senior Taco Bell brand manager at Kraft. He noted that for Kraft, the partnership is a big opportunity to grow sales because "the mainstream Mexican category is a fast-growing segment."
