Taco Bell facing lawsuits over outbreak

Business First of Louisville: Taco Bell parent Yum Brands Inc. said in a Feb. 28 regulatory filing that 11 lawsuits have been filed against the company over a recent E. coli outbreak tied to Taco Bell restaurants in several eastern states. According to the Center for Disease Control, 71 people fell ill in November and December after eating at Taco Bell restaurants in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.
