Taco Bell intros 'Truck-thru at HQ'

April 21, 2020

Taco Bell said that today it will again give away its new Flamin' Hot Doritos Locos via drive-thru or pickup for online orders with no purchase required, according to an email from the brand.

Taco Bell is also launching some new initiatives to extend gratitude to the truck drivers, other essential workers and the needy during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the company's headquarters in Irvine, California, the brand has set up what it calls its "Truck-Thru at HQ" to give truckers, who typically cannot fit their vehicles into standard Taco Bell location drive-thrus, free food without leaving their rigs.

Additionally, the Taco Bell Taco Truck continues to drive around the nation giving out food, including meals provided to more than 7,000 frontline workers to date, with plans to feed over 15,000 essential employees in total over the coming weeks.

Finally, the company has donated more than $2 million to No Kid Hungry through a $1 million Taco Bell Foundation gift, combined with another $1 million raised through the brand's "Round-up" program at store checkouts
