Taco Bell launches three Mountain Dew-based frozen drinks

September 26, 2013

On Sept. 26, Taco Bell restaurants nationwide will introduce the brand's new "House of Dew," three Mountain Dew-based frozen beverages.

The new "House of Dew" line will include two new options — Mtn Dew Distortion Freeze and Mtn Dew Typhoon Freeze — in addition to the Mtn Dew Baja Blast Freeze, first introduced nationally in March 2013.

The new frozen drinks feature Mtn Dew's signature taste, as well as Sour Lime (Distortion Freeze) and Tropical Punch (Typhoon Freeze) flavors.

Taco Bell's "DEWmocracy" campaign crowdsourced votes to decide which beverages would make the menu cut. Customers ranked Distortion as No. 1, Baja Blast as No. 2 and Typhoon as No. 3 in preferred flavor profiles

The beverages will be available for the suggested price of $1.99 for regular (16 oz.) and $2.29 for large (20 oz.).

Regular sizes are also included as part of Taco Bell's Happier Hour deals: $1 from 2-5 p.m. every day
