Taco Bell campaign pushes tacos every day of the week

Taco Bell will launch an ad campaign April 21 designed to challenge the idea that eating tacos is a "Tuesday thing."

The promotion will push Taco Bell's party packs as an any-day-of-the-week "thing" instead, according to a news release. 

The so-called "Taco reBELLion" campaign will push customers to eat tacos any time through minute-long ads that pit three gangs, the Hard Shells, Soft Shells and Los Locos uniting to fight the tradition of tacos on Tuesdays only. 

"Of course we love that there is a day of the week dedicated to tacos, but we believe it's time to challenge societal norms and for our fans and their friends feel empowered to enjoy tacos without limits," Chief Global Brand Officer Marisa Thalberg said in the release. "When you think of tacos, you should think getting together with friends, not just one day of the week."

The spoof campaign comes with a line of shirts and patches and an LTO that gives 15% off Party Packs.
