Taco Bell is expanding its chicken offerings with the launch of a limited-time slider and the addition of a permanent menu item, according to a press release.

The fast-food chain is offering the Crispy Chicken Crunchwrap Slider for $2.49. The item features chicken nuggets with a tortilla chip coating, a three-cheese blend, pico de gallo and a choice of sauce wrapped in a grilled tortilla.

The company is also making the Cantina Chicken Rolled Quesadilla a permanent fixture on its menu. Priced at $6.69, the item includes double the portion of slow-roasted chicken found in the standard Cantina chicken quesadilla, along with cheese and chipotle sauce.

The menu updates follow recent announcements at the company's Live Más Live event, where executives teased further chicken-based products for 2026, including Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets.

"The response to Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Cantina Chicken showed us just how ready fans are for us to keep innovating," Liz Matthews, global chief food innovation officer at Taco Bell, said in the press release. "So we're having fun with it, playing with form, flavor and texture to bring new energy into the formats our fans already love."

The slider will also be included in a $9 combo meal. Additionally, the company plans to release 500 stationary kits inspired by the new menu item to rewards members via its mobile app on April 7.

Taco Bell was founded more than 63 years ago.
