Taco Bell 'steal a base' promo back for World Series

This year's World Series will again receive the potential blessings of Taco Bell's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion that awards the brand's customers free Doritos Locos Tacos for the series' first player to successfully steal a base, according to a press release.

In addition, this year the brand is adding items available for purchase, including a limited-edition baseball cap and a Topps trading card collection. 

In game one of the series, on Oct. 23, the brand will offer "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" baseball caps to fans via Taco Bell's Taco Shop. Likewise, trading cards that commemorate base stealers from this year and those previous will be available in restaurants around the ballparks hosting the game, and included in all cap purchases. 

The 2018 World Series runs Oct. 23 on through at least game four on Oct. 27 and at most, game seven on Halloween. Once the first base is stolen, fans can get a free taco on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (local time) at all participating U.S. locations while supplies last. Customers registered on Taco Bell's website or app can redeem free tacos online on Nov. 1.
