IRVINE, Calif. —The Taco Bell Foundation is offering a scholarship sweepstakes in which four $25,000 scholarships will be given away. Customers 13 years or older must visit a participating Taco Bell restaurant April 23 to obtain a code, available while supplies last.
Participants have until April 30 to visit www.tacobellgraduation.com and follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form using the code. Each participant may enter only one time.
Taco Bell restaurants will donate 15 percent of sales on April 23 to the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens, which supports programs to inspire teenagers to graduate from high school.
World's largest high school yearbook
The foundation also is helping raise awareness of America's high school dropout crisis and the national fundraiser through public service announcements, restaurant merchandising and a multiplatform presence on the Web. This includes an interactive Facebook application where people can show support for the cause by uploading their photo onto the World's Largest Yearbook. The foundation's goal is to build a Facebook Yearbook with 1 million "friends," representing the current number of teens who drop out of high school each year.
