Taco Bell to release Vegan Nacho Fries

Nacho Fries are back at Taco Bell, and this time the brand is also releasing a vegan cheese to accompany orders, according to a press release.
Nacho Fries with Vegan Nacho Sauce will be available beginning Oct. 12. The nacho cheese is certified vegan by the American Vegetarian Association. It first appeared on Taco Bell's menu in June 2023 during a Vegan Crunchwrap test, and the brand said the vegan offering was well received.
"We're thrilled to reintroduce Nacho Fries, now with a larger-than-life flair, and our beloved Vegan Nacho Sauce," Liz Matthews, global chief food innovation officer at Taco Bell, said in the release. "This sauce, born from the success of our Vegan Crunchwrap, represents Taco Bell's commitment to providing delicious, craveable food for a variety of lifestyles — whether you're vegan, flexitarian or want to try something new, there's a place for you at our table."
The brand is also offering a bigger size in the Nacho Fries — the Large Nacho Fries size.
