October 23, 2018

Taco Bell is testing three menu items in eastern U.S. markets this fall, ranging from well-priced to heavily spiced. The tests will run through mid-November in a trio of local markets, according to a press release.

In Flint, Michigan the order of the day is the toasted cheddar chalupa with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and sour cream in fried chalupa shell with toasted cheddar cheese for $2.49. It comes as a single or in a $5 box along with two Crunchy tacos and a medium drink.

In Charlotte, North Carolina, value is the name of the game with the brand's test of the $2 Stacker Duo with three cheeses and seasoned beef in a quesadilla with a medium drink, or in a $5 box with a Crunchy taco, Doritos locos taco, cinnamon twists and a drink.

And finally, the brand heats things up in Milwaukee, where it's testing the Reaper Ranch Quesarito with double layers of reaper ranch and nacho cheese sauces, with seasoned beef and rice. It comes a la carte for $2.99, or in a $5 box including the quesarito, two Crunchy Tacos, and a medium drink.
