Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Tacos, the brand's most successful product launch in its history, will be introduced to Canada on Sept. 2, nearly a year and a half after they made their U.S. debut.
The product, which features a taco shell made out of a Doritos Nacho Cheese chip, beef, lettuce, diced red tomatoes and shredded cheese, was initially introduced in March 2012.
"With Taco Bell on the inside and Doritos Nacho Cheese on the outside, you'll want to grab your friends and race to the nearest Taco Bell just to try it," said David Vivenes, chief marketing officer, Taco Bell Canada.
Select restaurants may begin serving Doritos Locos Tacos as early as Aug. 31. The item starts at $1.49 and $1.99 for a Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme.
