Those searching for a good franchise opportunity might want to consider Taco Bueno Restaurants, L.P. The 43-year-old Tex-Mex chain is expanding its franchise program, specifically eyeing locations in the Southern, Midwest and Central Southwest regions.
The chain recently embarked upon a re-design effort that features a stylish and comfortable atmosphere centered on distinctive Southwestern design elements such as stone and wrought-iron accents. Customers can now also witness Taco Bueno's signature scratch preparation through a specially designed window into the kitchen.
These updates led to a plan to implement a new site selection model developed by Buxton, a Forth Worth, Texas, based consumer analytics firm. The two most recent openings of this new prototype are located near Tulsa, Okla.
"We are pleased to offer the markets of Houston, College Station, Memphis, Midland/Odessa, Nashville, Omaha, Shreveport and Topeka for development," Pete Belcher, vice president of franchising, said. "Our franchisees there will benefit from these recent upgrades, which strongly deliver on our brand positioning. They will also have access to data from a new site selection model representing the latest in technology to evaluate potential new trade areas."
