Taco Bueno partners with Buxton for network optimization

January 31, 2010

Taco Bueno Restaurants Inc. has formed a partnership with Buxtom, a customer analytics firm, to assist with the restaurant's market expansion and analytics strategy. The Farmers Branch, Texas-based quick-service chain operates nearly 190 stores in nine states.

"Our new relationship with Buxton gives Taco Bueno the capability to define markets in the U.S. where expansion would be the most advantageous for us," said John Miller, chief executive of Taco Bueno, in a news release. "We are also focusing on our existing store network to understand how we can optimize those markets where we already have brand awareness."

As part of this alliance, Taco Bueno joins a growing list of organizations utilizing SCOUT, a Web-based site selection and management application developed by Buxton. SCOUT can be used as a pre-screening tool for real estate location decisions and a comprehensive site management system.
