Taco John’s has added Mexican Donut Bites to the menu, per the request of its customers.

"Instead of ordering Cini-Sopapilla Bites as originally offered, with either cinnamon sugar or icing, we saw guests consistently asking for the dessert with both toppings. So we decided to combine the two flavors and call the new dessert Mexican Donut Bites," said Bob Karisny, VP for Menu Strategy and Innovation, in a news release. "We also see this as an opportunity to leverage growing consumer demand for smaller dessert options."

Mexican Donut Bites are bite-sized pastry puffs rolled in cinnamon sugar then glazed with cream cheese icing made to order. They are on the dessert menu but are available all day.
