Taco John's launches Crunchy Chicken promotion

CHEYENNE, Wyo. Taco John's is launching a new ad campaign to promote itsCrunchy Chicken & Potato Burrito.
 
The campaign will include TV, radio and in-store POP featuring the menu item.
  
Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey, Taco John's long-standing spokesmonkey, is back to promote Crunchy Chicken and moves to the head of the class when he gives his teacher a Crunchy Chicken & Potato Burrito in the TV spot, Straight 'A' Burrito. The burrito trumps any apple and the teacher adorns Whiplash with praise by giving him another gold star, added to an already impressive collection of stars. This prompts one boy to label Whiplash the "teacher's pet."
 
To add further excitement to the promotion, Pepsi and Taco John's will introduce the "Roll with Jeff's Crew" sweepstakes during the campaign. Guests can upgrade their purchase of the Crunchy Chicken & Potato Burrito EZ Combo meal to get a special 32- or 42- oz. cup showing Jeff Gordon and his #24 race car.
 
The cup will contain a special code that guests can use online to enter to win a trip for two to the Ford 400 NASCAR race in Miami on Nov. 18, 2007, where they will meet Jeff Gordon. By registering on-line, guests are also rewarded with a Buy One, Get One free coupon for a Crunchy Chicken & Potato Burrito EZ Combo meal.
