Taco John's has named Billie Jo Waara as its new chief marketing officer. Waara has more than a decade of marketing experience in the restaurant, tourism, banking, retail and communications industries.
According to a news release, Waara's main focus will be growing brand awareness.
Waara has been working with Taco John's for nearly five years as the vice president of insights and media at Lawrence & Schiller, the chain's advertising agency of record.
"I hired Billie Jo because of her proven results and impressive experience growing sales and transactions," CEO Jeff Linville said in the release. "I believe she will play a lead role in helping us achieve both our short and long term growth goals here at Taco John's."
