Taco John's spreading across New York, Tennesee

The chain confirmed a multi-year 20-store deal for New York City with plans for 15 additional locations in the region.

Wyoming-based Taco John's is expanding across the northeast, according to a company press release.

The chain confirmed a multi-year 20-store deal for New York City with plans for 15 additional locations in the region. Nashville-based Excellent Taco LLC will also expand the brand throughout Tennessee, planning for 32 more locations.

"We are thrilled franchise owners of this caliber will introduce our legacy brand to new markets around the country," said Jeff Linville, president and CEO of Taco John's.

The two deals will increase the size of the chain, which has posted 19 years of sales growth and operates 380 restaurants across 24 states, by 10 percent, according to the release.
