TCBY readies itself for expansion

TCBY, The Country's Best Yogurt, has developed a partnership with Buxton, a customer analytics firm based out of Ft. Worth, Texas, to develop a sales model that facilitates a successful expansion strategy.

TCBY, based in Salt Lake City, currently has more than 600 units around the world, including 400 in the U.S.

During the partnership, TCBY will utilize SCOUT, a web-based site selection and management application developed by Buxton. The application is used to screen real estate locations.

This announcement comes shortly after TCBY launched a new rebranding effort and store prototype to reclaim its spot as the frozen yogurt category leader.
 
“With Buxton’s analytical tools, we will be able to evaluate our existing locations, verify our most loyal customers, and determine future locations,” said Rob Streett, senior vice president of TCBY. “We look forward to receiving a thorough competitive analysis, with market optimization, that will provide us with solutions to continue our national influence in the frozen yogurt market.”
