Thailand gets its first Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme has opened its first shop in the Kingdom of Thailand. The unit, in the Siam Paragon shopping center, is located in the center of the Bangkok business district.

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation signed the franchise agreement in 2009 with KDN Company Limited. Twenty franchise stores are planned for the country throughout the next five years.

Krispy Kreme currently exists in 21 countries.

"KDN Company Limited is led by an accomplished group of business professionals, and we believe they will be a strong franchise partner."
