Following the launch of its ghost kitchen franchise model in July, The Local Culinary has added five brands to its roster of offerings, which includes 50 virtual restaurant concepts. The Miami-based group provides consumers with chef-driven food delivery options while giving independent restaurant owners the ability to leverage its designed-for-delivery concepts within their own kitchen spaces, according to a company press release.

The five new brands added to its portfolio today include:

  • The Crispy Wings offers a variety of chicken wings.
  • La Casa Del Tacos specializes in high-quality tacos with authentic Mexican ingredients including Korean fusion, Cuban fiesta and spicy tuna poke offerings.
  • Jack's Bagel delivering bagels with unique toppings such as the fried chicken guacamole bagel or the barbecue brisket bagel.
  • El Patron Empanadas offers a twist on the classic Spanish dish.
  • Muchacho Burrito features classics including carnitas and pollo asado burritos, as well as "new school" options such as the steak chimichurri, portobello mushroom and Impossible Meat burritos.

"As the demand for high-quality food delivery options continues to increase, so too does the pressure on independent restaurateurs, who are facing challenges unlike any other time in history," Founder Alp Franko. "Our expansive portfolio of designed-for-delivery concepts have been successfully replicated in our first franchisee's kitchens, helping them create new revenue streams and diversify their local customer bases. We are excited to continue expanding our brand offerings with new concepts on a consistent basis, and we look forward to welcoming other restaurant owners into our family as we grow into the future."

The Local Culinary has three locations and offers delivery via Uber Eats, Postmates, GrubHub and DoorDash.
