Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is offering its grilled-to-order Panini sandwiches in the morning and with a new twist — they now come on either multigrain or maple flatbread.
The new flatbread breakfast Paninis are available in up to 16 different varieties with classic breakfast ingredients such as egg or an egg-white omelet; bacon, hickory smoked ham or a lightly-seasoned sausage patty with melted cheese.
"We're committed to offering our guests the best array of breakfast menu choices," said Mike Meilleur, Tim Horton's senior vice president operations, U.S. "Consumers want options and value in the A.M. More people are choosing to eat out in the morning and we want to be the place where they stop."
More than half of the available flatbread breakfast Panini varieties are 300 calories or less. They retail for $2.99.
Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop has recently expanded its U.S. menu offerings including espresso-based beverages, breakfast sandwiches and wraps, Real-Fruit Smoothies and new assortments of baked goods. The bakery cafe chain launched its lunchtime grilled Panini in October 2011.
