Tim Hortons Cafes treating US veterans to free donut

November 6, 2014

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is offering all active and inactive US military veterans a free donut in celebration of Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

"A free donut to our veterans is just a small way for us to give back to those who give so much, every day," EVP Mike Meilleur said in a news release.

This is the sixth year the bakery cafe chain has given free donuts to US veterans. The promotion will last all day on Nov. 11 at participating restaurants or until supplies last. No purchase is necessary. Veterans need to either be in uniform or show their military ID for redemption.
