Tim Hortons creates 'How I Met Your Mother' inspired doughnut

Tim Hortons unveiled "The Priestley" on its Facebook and Twitter pages Tuesday, introducing fans to its new creation inspired by Jason Priestley's character on Monday night's episode of "How I Met Your Mother."

During the Canadian-themed episode, a scene took place featuring famous Canadians recalling which Tim Hortons they were at and what doughnut they were eating when fictional superstar Robin Sparkles "lost it."

Priestley recalled his memory from Squamish, British Columbia, when he "crammed a Timbit into a strawberry vanilla and called it 'The Priestly.'

"Should have been the best day of my life," he said.

The next day, Tim Hortons' social media channels posted a photo of its new creation with the description: "Jason Priestley's suggestion on 'How I Met Your Mother' last night inspired us. A Timbit IN a donut? Genius. We give you, 'The Priestley.'"

The new doughnut-inspiring scene is located on the brand's Facebook page.
