After selling out within weeks when introduced for a limited time in August 2013, Tim Hortons has brought back its Extreme Italian Sandwich. Starting today, the option is now a permanent addition to the brand's lunch menu.
"Our guests told us they were looking for variety at lunch, and our Extreme Italian Sandwich delivered with its big, bold, zesty taste," said David McMullen, vice president, marketing, Tim Hortons Canada. "Extreme Italian quickly rose to be one of our top-selling sandwiches and solidified Tim Hortons' position as a leading lunch destination. Feedback from our guests about the sandwich was unequivocal: they loved it, so we brought it back."
The sandwich includes Capicollo ham, Genoa salami and pepperoni, and is topped with mozzarella and a creamy sundried tomato sauce. It is served on a parmesan and herb-topped bun.
The Extreme Italian Sandwich is made fresh to order and is available at participating Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada for $4.99.
