Tim Hortons US launches weeklong coffee promotion

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is celebrating National Coffee Week with the launch of any size coffee in regular or dark roast for $1. The offer is good from today through Sept. 29. The brand's new dark roast coffee was introduced last month.

"We are often the first stop in our guests' morning routines and we believe coffee is more than a beverage, it's a ritual," EVP Mike Meilleur said in a news release. "Offering our guests a $1 any size coffee is our way of helping them get the day started off right — all week long."

Also as part of National Coffee Day celebrations on Sept. 29, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will be giving out more than $9,000 in cash and gift cards. Special gold envelopes filled with either a $25 Tim Cards or cash will be hidden across local hotspots in Columbus, Ohio; Buffalo and Rochester, New York; Detroit and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Clues of where the golden envelopes are hidden will be released on the brand's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
