Toppers Pizza expands leadership team

Wisconsin-based Toppers Pizza has moved several employees into leadership roles, according to a press release.

"We're looking to the future and what we see is growth for our company as we move into new markets," Adam Oldenburg, Toppers Pizza CEO, said in the release. "These additions in leadership were strategic moves that we expect to pay off in terms of future growth and opportunities."

Mac Malchow, a former Toppers delivery driver, moved from director of national marketing to vice president of development. He owns five Toppers locations and will serve as a key player in development efforts as he leverages his experience in building successful stores.

Matt Martin moved into the role of vice president of operations. A former delivery driver, Martin has spent 22 years with the brand, serving as franchise training leader, director of training and franchise operations director. He will oversee franchise and corporate operations.

Steve Armstrong has been hired as director of corporate operations role. He served as the director of franchise operations at Panera Bread before moving into his new role.

Toppers Pizza has more than 70 locations.
