A new Krispy Kreme Doughnut Cafe has opened in Toronto. Fans are invited to a grand opening celebration June 28 at 7 a.m., that will include sampling and prizes.
"Having recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Canada, Krispy Kreme is deeply committed to sharing delicious tastes and creating joyful memories with our guests," said Chris Lindsay of franchisee Krispy K. Canada Inc. "Our newest downtown Toronto store brings us closer to where our loyal fans live, work, go to school and play, and we are excited to share the one-of-a-kind Krispy Kreme experience with Canadian fans of all ages."
The new Doughnut Cafe is approximately 600 square feet and will feature Krispy Kreme's signature doughnuts and coffee. It also will offer several new handmade bakery items -- Krispy Kreme Pull Aparts (hand-rolled dough, filled with savory ingredients) and Kruffins (muffins with a hole filled with fruits, creams or chocolate).
"We are very excited about opening our fifth store in the Canadian market," said Kelcey Hamaker of Krispy K Canada Inc. "We continue to actively seek new locations in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City as we look to bring our signature products and unique brand experience closer to consumers with new smaller, more convenient locations."
